Hammond Trail 2M & Half-Marathon

This is the first time we have switched the course from “Hammond Bridge” of the past to the newly opened “Hammond Trail.” Miles and corners are marked with “fluorescent pink” now. You can try out this beautiful course during your training.

 

Big “Thank You’s” to Karen Kelley-Day and Portia Matheson for measuring the new course and marking every mile neatly and accurately, to Jim Griggs for helping me figure out the new course and providing runners with water + cheer with David Howell, to Wendy Pearcy for bringing a box of cookies, to Ken Yanosko for helping record runners’ time, to James Washington and Marlene Allen for bringing two cases of sports drink, to Dale Bagley for allowing us to use his truck bed as a food tray every year, and most of all to all the runners, family and friends who showed up and cheered.
