Master’s Race 10K

Twenty five masters runners ranging in age from 40 to 81 witnessed a minor miracle at the Clam Beach course today; it didn’t rain on us!! It turned out to be sunny, windy, and chilly, but not wet.

Chris Hamer retained her title as women’s champ with Portia second and Marlene third.

In the men’s race John Zinselmeier regained the title with Greg Goldsmith second and Jurgen third.

Thanks to Phil Lescano and Karen Kelley-Day for race help and Yoon Kim and Jim Griggs for photos.

Sadly, two of our best ever masters runners couldn’t be with us. Lenny and George were both heroes to me and will be missed!!

See you all next year.
